Game of the Day: April 7th 2012
Toronto Blue Jays 7 - Cleveland Indians 4 (F/12)
Brett Lawrie is congratulated at home plate by teammate Juan Encarnacion as he stumbles across home plate in the top of the 12th inning that would eventually lead to a Blue Jays victory as they defeat the Cleveland Indians 7-4 in extra innings.
Rajai Davis delivered the go-ahead runs after a double in the 12th inning after both Indians and Blue Jays starters Ubaldo Jimenez and Brandon Morrow flirted with no-hitters throughout most of the beginning frames, until Kelly Johnson and Asdrubal Cabrera fired up the sticks early in the ninth.
However, Indians closer Tony Sipp would allow the winning runs to the Blue Jays on four hits and four earned runs in the final inning of play dropping the Tribe to an (0-2) mark on the season.
The first two games of this series have been one for the history books as the two teams have already played a grueling 28 innings over the past two days that have both led to a 7-4 Indians victory.
